How about sweet and tangy together? One of my favorite combos! This is a simple adaptation from a dessert I had at a restaurant in West Chester, Pennsylvania. My husband and I both took one bite and fell in love with the tang from the limoncello but the sweet and velvety texture of vanilla ice cream.
Limoncello Ice Cream
- Vanilla ice cream
- Limoncello liqueur
- Lemon zest
In a serving dish or glass scoop out your desired amount of vanilla ice cream. Pour about 1/2 oz of Limoncello liqueur over the top of your ice cream. Grade some fresh lemon zest over your dish and voila! Enjoy
