My dear friend Janine from Janine’s Confessions of a Mommyaholic nominated me for the Gargie Award. I found out about this award last Sunday about a minute after my beloved 49ers won the NFC Championship game! I was trolling Twitter hooting and hollering and grinning from ear to ear.
About an hour earlier I was ready to throw my remote at the TV because my team was losing 17-0 in the early beginnings of the game and I wanted to cry, rip my hair out and punch my husband. I pulled out my laptop and started plugging away at blog posts, answering emails and the like. All the while screaming at the defense, praising the offense when they did something right and trying not to wake my sleeping toddler! Needless to say they pulled it out and I am ecstatic to be going back to the Superbowl after nearly TEN years!
So back to the Gargie award. I am so honored by the friendships I have made through blogging. It’s amazing how you can become close to people without ever having met them. That is the way I feel about Janine. She is a tell it like it is mom and I love her for it! So THANK YOU Janine for this award and for being my friend!
