First of all, a HUGE thank you to all of you lovely ladies that are participating in the Slim by the Summer challenge. It is NOT easy making a lifestyle change, but it sure is a hell of a lot easier making the change when you have a supportive group of people around. Anna and I originally started this challenge amongst ourselves and it turned into a group of more than 20 cheering each other on with every milestone!
A couple of highlights from last week’s health and fitness challenge:
- We had two women lose over six pounds each!
- April from 100lb Countdown was the recipient of the weekly Starbucks gift card! Congratulations April!
- My Fitness Pal was overrun with “that a girls” and “woohoo’s” for jobs well done.
- The support from the Facebook group has been amazing!

This is such a supportive group! It's really quite amazing! Oh … and I forgot to put it in my post but I lost 2.6 pounds this week! yay!!
Just linked up! I am trying so hard to regain my willpower. One big step for me today is that my mom came down and I stead of going out to lunch like we normally do I said we should just eat back at my house. I knew I would be too tempted to order something bad.
That's good! See … willpower. It sucks sometimes but it's great to have the support of others! Stick with it!
Six lbs is amazing. Way to go for those ladies!!

I know … I am SO proud of them! I just stepped on the scale after my cardio kickboxing class this morning and I am down 3.6 pounds from last week! SO exciting!!

Wow, you are doing amazing with your Slim By the Summer group of ladies! Seems like you have a huge following, and that's so awesome. I agree on the bread thing…whenever I try to diet or eat healthy, bread is my downfall. It's just so good…and at restaurants, forget it. I'm so inspired by you lady!
